Students now have an easy way to document all of their artwork into an online portfolio. Just take pictures using their iPhone, iPad, or android device. Then after the photos upload to Google Drive, move them to a folder designated for their student portfolio. They can then share this tag photos in this folder (or depend on Photos awesome search capabilities) and share the folder with their teacher, prospective colleges, and on all of their online platforms.

An interesting way to create visuals using text. Students could type a poem (or a line or phrase from a poem) or a piece of prose and then draw the words with their finger.
You can use your finger to create randomly shaped lines or draw horizontal, vertical, or diagonal lines. You can choose from a selection of font styles, sizes, and colors and determine whether or not you want the lines of text to repeat and how much space between the words.

"Read and Write for Google is an excellent Chrome app that provides text-to-speech functions from your browser. They have just released a free iPad and Android app. 
The apps provide text to speech functions, which are great for ESL, learning disabled, visually challenged and struggling readers, on your device, just like the web app does in the Chrome Browser and Chromebooks.

You can use this to create some unique shows with animation and audio in real time. Iti s easy to pick out actors and backdrops, drag them on to the stage, and tap record. Movements and audio are recorded in real time for later playback. The free version is limited but the add-ons aren't too expensive if you are careful about your  choices. I like the idea of being able to use people and things from my own photos.

Human Body Study Jams are from Scholastic. There are six human body Study Jams; skeletal system, nervous system, digestive system, respiratory system, muscular system, and circulatory system. Study Jams are slideshows and animations that provide a short overview of various topics in maths and science. Some of the other sections in science include Plants, Animals, Ecosystem, Landforms, rocks and minerals, Weather and climate, Solar System, Matter, Force and motion, Energy, light and sound and Scientific enquiry. They offer photographs and some text with background music. There is a short test that viewers can take after watching the slides.
