There were 18 painted graves from the Neolithic age that were discovered in the Hasankeyf tumulus which are assumed to be from 11,500 years ago.

This is a great video of the Phoenician Alphabet. This video gives us the "scoop" on basis of this origin of the alphabet and also shows us some examples of how to write using this form of characters. Great video to get the 101 of the Phoenician Alphabet.
