Scientist that are looking back at ancient art on the wall find depictions of aircraft such as helicopter and planes, and find animals that look close to dinasours. This makes scientists wonder how they could create such pictures when dinasours were far before their time and any flying aircraft is long, long after. Technology wasn't advanced at all, so its courious how they could have these things.

Unlike current events, the acient civilizations didn't look down upon sex and drugs as we do today. These things were a way of life for mainly the people in the higher levels of social classes. Used for money or riches or even sacrifice.

This ancient city in China was submerged down in the sea to create other opportunists for science advancements like a hydroelectric power plant. The city remains undisturbed from the surface at a depth of 26-40m, and has provided scientists and archaeologists a glimpse into what life in ancient China was really like.

Before Chiang Mai existed, King Meng Rai built Wiang Kum Kam, the 1st Lanna capital. Buried beneath mud 5 yrs. later, it wasn't rediscovered until 1984.

To date, 42 sites have been unearthed and archeologists continue to look for more, including the original royal palace. Progress is slow, as digging must be done around the teak cottages that have sprung up in what is today a suburb of Chiang Mai.

As we made our way over to the dirt covered track my heart started to beat a little faster. Could I do this? Was I ready? Or would I be left behind in the dust?

Before Olympia was known as the birthplace of the Olympics is was an important place of worship. The first official Olympic Games were declared in 776 BC by King Iphitos of Elis, held in honour of Zeus. Every four years in August, around the time of the first full moon, Greek males would compete in the five day athletic festival. This then inspired the modern day Olympics later in History.
