Casandra Pricyla Alarcon's comment, February 28, 2014 1:41 AM
I found this article to be interesting and sad at the same time because of of all the people that are trying to preserve the monuments and other people are just destroying it. Some people are being killed because they stand around and try to guard their last couple of ancient buildings. People think that all ancient buildings can stand and last because of some ancient buildings that are still standing but that's not the case with every single one of them. The cultural monuments of Syria are in great danger. The remains of John the baptist reside there, there's so many beautiful historical monuments that are in danger of disappearing that it would be a shame.
