A cloud of mystery still hovers over Stonehenge, the prehistoric stone circle located on Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire, England.

They did a study on the stones at Stonehenge and found out where the came from. They still don't know how people got them to this place, but this new discovery helps eliminate some of the theories.

They found a bunch of skulls and other body parts that were brutally scarred or decapitated. They think that they were skulls of gladiators that were put on display to show strength and scare off the enemy.

It appears the individuals died the same time since there are multiple graves with multiple bodies.

A mass grove was discovered in Florence when they were getting ready to build an elevator for the museum there. They believe that all the people died at the same time since there are so many graves and bodies. They think that they were killed from an epidemic since the skeletons show no signs of injury or malnutrition. They are going to perform DNA testing to learn more about what could have happened.

When Napoleon went to Egypt, he didn't want to only want to conquer it but he wanted to understand it. He brought 150 scientists with him and they wrote down and drew picture of everything they encountered which helped Europe see Egypt in a new way.

They found a mass grave of about 2000 bodies under the streets of Rome and they believe  that they were all victims of religious discrimination.  Romans were usually buried in separate  tombs unlike the one they found. They believe that the bodies were added to the grave at different times.

I found this article very interesting. It was about bottle gourds and how they got to America. They had a couple of theories, one that they were brought here from Asia when the land was connected and the other being that they floated here from Africa. After doing some tests and research they found that they did in fact float here from Africa.

Archaeologist say that fire was used by humans 300,000 years back. Research shows that Qesem Cave has evidence fire would be used repeatedly. Along with the ashes, there was also sharp tools that were found that must have most likely been used for cutting meats and other types of food.
