The fossils are millions of years old. I believe what the paleontologists said about the blast of hot gas and volcanic rocks killing the animals is true. I think there were a lot of active volcanoes in ancient times.

A 13.6 billion year-old star was founded by Australian astronomers. I am not sure what the ancient star was used for. I am guessing that it was used to tell seasons, since the sun and moon were used to tell time.

What a lucky man that man was who found an 2,000 year old bronze sculpture of Apollo! The fisherman who found it was known to have had an asking price of 500,000 until policeman confiscated the finding and did further investigation of the finding.

Instead of doctors, gods were vital in human health before. Asklepios were sanctuaries that provided baths, foods, and rooms for sleeping. I think that this practice inspired modern people to do the same for the people who are ill.

Most of the most interesting monuments in world that are tourists attractions are in danger of losing itself. Because of different weather conditions that the monuments find themselves in, they are slowly in danger of disappearance.

People are debating about the death penalty in today's society. But people never considered the punishments that happened in ancient times. For example, there were these laws, called Code of Ur-Nammu, that were a little harsher than today's death penalty. Back then, if someone was to rape another person, then their punishment was death. I believe that today's death penalty is more reasonable than the Code of Ur-Nammu.

We discover that ancient Greeks and Romans were colour blind. This is actually interesting because some old art works are in certain, and to think, what else it could look like? For example the ocean color in Homer's The Lliad and The Odyssey. The water has a certain tint of another color. Would the painting be the same that we see it as, and gain the same acknowledgement?
