An accident turned into a discovery of an 18th dynasty tomb. For the most part when archaeologist go looking for what they are trying to find they either don't find it or accidentally find something else. This was the example of finding the 18th dynasty and the family within the tomb.

The letter seems to bring a different perspective from the ancient Greek military. One soldier discusses his need for his family and it was interesting to me, because men in ancient Greece seem to think the same way as modern american soldiers. Feelings are universal and never ending.

We discover that ancient Greeks and Romans were colour blind. This is actually interesting because some old art works are in certain, and to think, what else it could look like? For example the ocean color in Homer's The Lliad and The Odyssey. The water has a certain tint of another color. Would the painting be the same that we see it as, and gain the same acknowledgement?

Although 5,000 years separate ancient Egypt and myself, we both share similar qualities. The ownership of cats have been in our lives since way back when. In old movies we see that old rulers of Egypt have cats, but I did not really think that it was real. Something else that came of interest is wondering how old cats looked compared to modern felines.
