The recent recovery of two ancient Chinese coins dated respectively 1080 and 1040 AD from Harla near Dire Dawa poses an interesting question.
Bobby Savoy's insight:

I know that the Chinese had the technology to travel these long distances, but I don't get why they would go here specifically. What could they possibly want from these people at that time?

I am not surprised that they were at war once in a while. When the Spanish took over later on, they met with some resistance from the natives, so wouldn't be surprising that they engaged in war beforehand.

Imagine a warm brew of lager so heady you had to plunge a straw through the thick surface scum to get to the fermented liquor below.

Bobby Savoy's insight:

The fact that there are blueprints for Noah's Ark is amazing! Arguments over the validity of this Biblical story has been going on for a long time, and this still might not put it to rest. But if this is real and works, then the implications are huge.

"Native Americans were among the greatest plant domesticators. Archaeologists believe that Native Americans were originally big game hunters who followed the animals across an ice bridge which spanned the Bering Strait. Each of the different cultural areas developed their own unique agricultural styles..."
