The picture at the top of this page is AMAZING!. It truly looks like the gods are present. The Parthenon is said to have been built in only eight or nine years. With restorations being made, new knowledge about the building was gained.

Cool blog, lots of pictures with interesting information. Excavations that began about a century ago have revealed new facts about ancient Egypt such as their use of a nilometer which measured not only the Nile River's height during floods but also its clarity.
