Designing an Online Community for Language Teachers | TAMK English Journal | Ana Cristina Pratas - E-Portfolio | Scoop.it
Ana Cristina Pratas's insight:

This article presents an endeavor to create an online learning community for European language teachers in higher education. The approach presented here is based on the premise that knowledge is produced through processes in the interactions between people. The aim of the authors has been to get first-hand experience of community building, both in terms of digital choices and reflecting on community goals, while working within a transparent and dynamic small community of practice, the goal of which was to design an online community for language teachers

Congratulations on making the list, Ana! I'm disappointed to see the vendor presence in there (e.g. Articulate). Yes, they have a big reach but I feel that their platform bias tends to skew their "expertise". I do applaud the other more independent experts who are committed to growing and developing the community as a whole.
Ana Cristina Pratas's comment, March 14, 2013 10:16 AM
Thank you Mark! I'm afraid I don't know how the list is made. There are many professionals included there who I have utmost respect - am honoured and humbled to be mentioned.
