Who doesn't enjoy cheerios? General Mills provides a lot of standard perks for their corporate employees such as paid vacations. What caught my attention the most was the FUSE (Flexible User Shared Environment) that allows employees to sit and work where they want within the office.

Bill Marriott Jr. seems like a pretty cool dude. His resume speaks for itself but still he leads and makes decisions unlike many people with that much power. He even uses a cool example about former President Eisenhower and his similar way of decision making.

Over the years, I’ve observed just about every type of leadership development program on the planet. And the sad thing is, most of them don’t even come close to accomplishing what they were designed to do – build better leaders.

"You don't train leaders you develop them." I was amazed by the amount of money that gets spent on programs that are intented to train leaders. It would definitely be wiser and significantly cheaper to focus intentions on to developing a leader as opposed to holding training workshops in thier honor.
