Samiyah Rankins's curator insight, April 3, 7:52 PM
I chose this article because I personally have a tattoo, not one that is visible but I do plan on getting more. Like in the article, they said that people that get one tattoo, get addicted. I feel this is true because like myself, after my first one I plan on getting a lot more. All the people I know with a tattoo at least have two more or plan on getting many more. This new tattoo era has just begun, especially with our age group. I decided to wait to get the tattoos I want just in case it interferes with job opportunities. Certain companies I think should get on board especially if the tattoo isn't offensive. Most of the people I know look at tattoos as a form of art or expression. It's our own bodies and we should be able to take advantage if we won't, without any restrictions. This article seems reliable because it has many statistics and sources for them.

Louisiana flooding is worst disaster since Sandy, but people aren’t talking about it

Louisiana flooding is worst disaster since Sandy, but people aren’t talking about it | Amanda Carroll | Scoop.it
he Louisiana flooding is a classic case of a "bad-timing” for media coverage, according to Moeller. She notes that while the floods have been covered, they’ve escaped the attention they would have received at another time.

“It’s a presidential election year, and the Olympics are ongoing,” she said. “There’s very little oxygen in the newsroom for covering it.”
