It's not so difficult to fool someone if you are just asking general questions or talking about memories of the past. But do you know how to spot the signs?  How many times does your loved one give you a roundabout answer when you have asked a question? Or have they said things like I don't really keep up with the news?

Usually, they aren't lying at all. They don't remember if they ate or took their medication. Yet it's easier to make you smile by saying "Yes, I've ate a hearty meal today."
