At the same time, the link between inactivity and chronic health problems has been firmly established. A sedentary lifestyle has been associated with lower life expectancy, slower metabolism, and increased risk of heart attack.

I have COPD and my life depends on walking. Without walking every day, my breathing deteriorates. Now, they are coming to realize that everyone needs exercise. As my son loves to remind me: "If you don't use it, Mom, you lose it." Start Walking!

Indeed: better do go out for a walk than sit on your butt all day wondering about if you feel right to go for the strenuous workout you intended to do, but don't feel to do right now, maybe later, maybe tomorrow...

 

In der Tat ist es besser, einfach mal Spazieren zu gehen, statt zu Hause rumzusitzen und darüber nachzudenken, ob man gerade gut genug fühlt für das eigentlich geplante anstrenge Workout oder es auf später verschieben soll oder auf morgen...
