Queens of the Stoneage in Hilarious Mockumentary: Secrets of the Sound

Queens of the Stoneage in Hilarious Mockumentary: Secrets of the Sound | Alternative Rock | Scoop.it

Since hearing some exciting news about the forthcoming Queens of the Stone Age album—namely the inclusion of Dave Grohl on drums and former bassist Nick Oliveri’s possible appearance —it’s great to see the band’s still on track.

In a recent video posted by the band on YouTube, we get a maybe-too-inclusive look at the band’s studio, which shows Matt Berry and Steve Agee catching the band in its element. In the clip, titled Secrets of the Sound, we see a cluttered studio space, band members’ putting their vanity on display and some lively discussions of Patrick Swayze.

UNDER THE RADAR: The Atelier - "The Gypsy Song"

UNDER THE RADAR: The Atelier are a six member band based in the West of London. Originally, all six members were session musicians in their own right. Brought together over the summer of 2011 by drummer Thomas Carli-Jarlier and vocalist Vasilisa Ilicheva, the band are best described as a jazzy-rocky- funky-pop meddle...and it works.

If you can get to this show: #1, I hate you; #2, you better enjoy it, you lucky turd; because #3, this is AM's first arena tour and they've been doing great, not to mention TBK are ridiculously good these days. Pff! Don't talk to me.
