“Hope on the Horizon” is a five-man expedition team. The men will attempt to summit the 48 highest peaks of New Hampshire’s White Mountains while simultaneously filming a documentary. The “Hope on the Horizon” expedition team includes Mike Dourney of Basking Ridge, the grandson of Charlie Dourney; Valentine, the expedition leader; Robert Lomauro of Lebanon, recently retired president & CEO of the Somerset Hills YMCA; Kirk Leslie of Basking Ridge, a skilled outdoorsman; and Alex Williams of Basking Ridge from Videotrekker Films.
The hope is that the film will raise ALS awareness and bring light to the name. The project marks HARK’s first step in becoming a dependable resource for people living with ALS. The success of the “Hope on the Horizon” project is critical for HARK to grow and accomplish its goal of supporting people living with ALS.
Funds must be raised by August 15th or the TEAM will be unable to fufill their quest.
Funding is desperately needed in order for the project and TEAM to go forward in September.
