Perspective: The ‘Day’ In Review

Perspective: The ‘Day’ In Review | All Things Paper.li | Scoop.it

How do motorcycle enthusiasts stay abreast of the latest news, reviews, and tips?  They publish a Paper.li!

I ran across this blog post by Mac, a motocycle enthusiast and owner of the Northwest Harley Blog. He just stumbled across Paper.li a few weeks back and is now publishing a Daily for his community.  I love the ease and flexibility that Paper.li offers, enabling anyone to become a publisher of their passion -- and so easily.

Welcome to the community Mac!

Empower Writers, Do Better | The People Behind the Paper.lis

Empower Writers, Do Better | The People Behind the Paper.lis | All Things Paper.li | Scoop.it

It's time to end Me-too content and let writer's write!

" Publishers often try to translate the paper model to the web and offer everything to their audiences. It leads to a me-too content explosion in which publishers struggle to cover everything in order to stay household brands."

Give writers a mission, and the tools to pursue it. Empower writers to make a difference in their writing - let them explore, experiment and write - long form and original content with the aim to feed the mind and soul.

Great article by Paper.li publisher Evren Kiefer. Food for thought!

There’s a Publisher in All of Us | The People Behind the Paper.lis

There’s a Publisher in All of Us | The People Behind the Paper.lis | All Things Paper.li | Scoop.it

Great and motivating article for anyone who thinks they don't "have what it takes" to curate.... We've all got a story to tell -- and now we have the means to make sharing easy.

Liz says:

"Every one of us has our own story to tell. The more I browse curators’ and publishers’ content — not just on Paper.li, but everywhere someone takes the trouble to collate it – the more I see there’s a publisher in all of us. Who hasn’t got a story to tell? Who hasn’t got a passion for something? Who hasn’t got a cause to espouse?"

There Goes Everybody | The People Behind the Paper.lis

There Goes Everybody | The People Behind the Paper.lis | All Things Paper.li | Scoop.it

A nice, thought provoking post by Frank Paynter.

"The web is a workshop and a recreation space, a study hall, a studio, or a conference room, a classroom and a library and a whole lot more. Whatever use you want to make of the media it moves, whatever your interest in the information it contains, however you want to communicate with the others who use it, there are tool sets evolving that will truly separate the people of the 21st century from their neolithic stone adze using forebears. An age of networked knowledge is upon us, bringing with it the tools to conquer the mountain."
