Historians debate importance of Anzac story

Some historians argue Australia places too much emphasis on the Anzac legend and has forgotten other voices from the past.

Someone may have edited this video to show Australia in a better light, by making it seem as if we have always shown our support towards our involvement in world wars, when in actual fact, many people opposed our association with WW1, WW2, the Vietnam War and conscription.

I think that the person who put this video online was in favour for Anzac day and really likes it. he wanted to post a video to promote it but could only find this video showing bothsides. He only wanted the first part so that's why he edited the last part of the video.

The video is split between two parts, the positive involvement of Australia in World War 1 and the negative effects. The person who cut the video, wanted only to show the section which agreed with his argument, and did not show the other side of the story.

ANZACs are considered heroes because they fought valiantly against impossible odds. They accepted their orders without question, stood by their mates.
