A Article about developments in CAD (Computer Aided Design) that lead to a modeling technique known as BIM (Building Information Modeling). Through BIM, architects now are able to have a centralized model for all building geometry and it’s associated information. This leads to new ways in which we use computers as drawing tools and present todays architects with tools for speciality integration, coordination, data extractin, analysis and similation using a centralized model, distributed between all design participants.
