Ambulance Victoria is installing high-tech electronic drug safes to prevent the abuse of powerful prescription pain killers by paramedics.

We'd suggest it might be worth paying some attention to the reasons why paramedics are using drugs like fentanyl in the first place.  If they are not addressed, the demand will continue and ways will be found to get around whatever supply control measures are put in place.
