If you're in Victoria, new non-residential rehabilitation services are due to open around the state next month: http://www.regen.org.au/media-releases/613-regen-welcomes-expansion-of-vic-non-resi-drug-rehabilitation-services-26-06-15. These programs should add 500 treatment places to the Victorian treatment system and will improve the accessibility of rehab services, particularly in rural and regional areas.

We really hope the Govt is going to make a meaningful effort on addressing the many societal factors that contribute to problematic AOD use and increasing the accessibility of treatment and support services.  Law enforcement will only ever be part of the solution. As National Ice Taskforce head Ken Lay has said previously: 'we can't arrest our way out of this problem'.
