Another variation on a theme that's been explored previously. As with previous examples, we'd wonder just how many people are going to use this, other than as a game.  If you look at the examples given, it's pretty underwhelming: basically adding some rouge and wrinkles. Is it going to change behaviour?  Unlikely.

Policing having little impact on Ireland's drug market

Policing having little impact on Ireland's drug market | Alcohol & other drug issues in the media | Scoop.it
Drug availability is 'largely unaffected' by Garda and Customs’ operations and drug markets are more 'integrated' than ever in communities, according to a landmark piece of research.
ReGenUC's insight:

Hence the need for multi-pronged drug policy, including treatment and harm reduction programs.  Supply reduction measures, in isolation, are never going to prevent use.

Ziggi Ivan Santini's curator insight, October 30, 2014 4:44 AM

Prohibition of drugs has “no impact on availability”. At best, it causes a temporary reduction for a period of weeks. However, prohibition is associated with extreme expenditures of significant government resources, while exacerbating violence in communities and sustaining criminal lifestyles, even for children as young as nine.  Decriminalize!
