A. JAFFE Makes It to the Red Carpet

 The red carpet was rolled out and the glam cam was spotting all the latest fashion trends at the 65th Primetime Emmy’s live, at the Nokia Theatre, this past Sunday.  This year’s red carpet was sizzling with lots of glamorous fashion, especially on the accessory front. Now let’s look and see exactly who was wearing A. JAFFE on that iconic red carpet. Lauren Parsekian, wife of Emmy nominee and one of the stars of Breaking Bad, Aaron Paul, was seen flaunting a gorgeous A. JAFFE necklace as she gracefully walked down the carpet. The necklace she chose was the Magnolia Flower 10-carat diamond necklace priced at $130,000. This particular necklace weaves a floral design in a totally fresh way. Today in wedding history, September 19, 1945, Shirley Temple and John Agar said “I do” to one another. Shirley Temple was a young actress prodigy and referred to as America’s Sweetheart. She was well known for her acting, dancing, and singing. The young actress was such a cute girl growing up with her head of spiral curls and innocent smile. “When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace.” – Jimi Hendrix Fifty years ago today, over 250,000 brave men and women marched for equality, freedom, and economic advancement in Washington D.C in the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom.  Participants of the march arrived in Washington by planes, trains, cars, and buses.  Marchers came from near and far, some from as far as Texas and Boston, all to unite for peace.  Legendary performers including Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Peter, Paul, and Mary, and Mahalia Jackson sang songs about peace and put famous faces to the Civil Rights Movement.  These performers sang traditional American folk songs that reminded marchers that regardless of race, they were all Americans.  Though the march seemed very tense at times because of the ever present threat of violence breaking out, organizers promoted peace and serenity and sang songs of unity to bring calm to the racially driven storm.  The march lasted a
