A ways off from commercial development, researchers in Dubai are attempting to make transgenic cloned camels, whose milk could help make cheaper drugs and more profitable.... http://www.treehugger.com/natural-sciences/genetically-modified-camel-milk-help-produce-pharmaceuticals.html
"pdjmoo...This is over the top...Firstly, it is unregulated and untested. Secondly what does it do to the camels with these pharmaceuticals in their systems. Thirdly, how does anyone monitor this so that no accident occurs when this genetically modified breeding gets into the "normal, natural" camels; and thirdly why is science willing to go along with such a bizarre and altering of our animal world. This is not okay. It is the biotech industry running out of control with little or no regulation or oversight, or responsibility to our environment or health"
