Plusieurs organismes à la tête desquels l'IDPF, mais aussi une grande partie de l'édition se battent aujourd'hui pour l'adoption massive d'un format de fichier plus performant, plus ouvert et lisible sur tous les appareils : l'EPUB 3. Ce Graal de l'édition numérique commence toutefois à faire long feu pour être remplacé. Mais une idée fait son chemin dans l'édition numérique : l'HTML représenterait l'avenir...
