My topic is Advances in technology and warfare of World War 2. The war lasted from 1939 to 1945. It was one of the greatest wars ever known. People who served in that war are alive to this day and can recall many great stories. Wars used to be hand to hand or gun-to-gun violence but after the first war people decided to start inventing new things. A start to the biggest milestone made during World War 1 was medicine, penicillin to be in fact. It took off during World War 2 due to injured soldiers. A lot of sickness flowed through every war fought in the world. Nurses and doctors used it to better the soldiers hoping to get them back on their feet as soon as possible. Another invention brought up to help towards war was the radar. Soldiers used it to detect any planes flying by. The radar was used to prevent any attacks from the sky. A big part of the war was the Atomic Bomb that the states dropped upon Japan. It was attack from them bombing pearl harbor. A lot of people including the scientists who made the bomb were against the idea of dropping it on Japan. Japan never surrendered which lead to the bomb. Millions of people across seas, died that day. A lot of new technology was invented during the war and used to conquer our opponents. Most of the stuff brought up at that time is still being used to this day just on a completely different level.
