Worried About Diving With Sharks? It's All In Your Body Language…

Worried About Diving With Sharks? It's All In Your Body Language… | Adrenaline | Scoop.it

So it seems like with dogs, Sharks bite and eat (you) depending of your body language based on Mike Rutzen a top diver (and a pretty brave guy) that dives with great white sharks without a cage. How cool is that? While he isn’t the first to do it, he’s taken shark diving to a previously unimagined level. He does it not for fun, to win bets or for the adrenaline rush, but to prove a point. And the point is that great white sharks have a gentle side to their nature. It’s largely to campaign for the removal of the nets that that Rutzen wants to change the image of sharks.

Although I would not be able to dive with a white shark sneaking up from behind, I suspect a large amount of suspenseful emotions involved.

Adrenaline Junkie Plans Extreme Leap -- From Space

Adrenaline Junkie Plans Extreme Leap -- From Space | Adrenaline | Scoop.it

You've heard of skydiving, right? How about space-diving?Felix Baumgartner is an Austrian skydiver, BASE jumper and adrenaline junkie who hopes to set the record this summer for the highest skydive ever.

If all goes well, Baumgartner will use a pressurized capsule attached to a high-altitude helium balloon for a "stratospheric flight" to more than 120,000 feet. "He will then exit the capsule and jump -- protected only by a pressurized 'space' suit and helmet supplied with oxygen -- in an attempt to become the first person to break the speed of sound and reach supersonic speeds in free-fall before parachuting to the ground,"

Adrenaline Rush On Reunion Island

Adrenaline Rush On Reunion Island | Adrenaline | Scoop.it
"WHALE!" I yelled. The helicopter banked. We began a crazed, corkscrewing descent. My brain struggled to process the kaleidoscope of sky, horizon, rearing mountains and blue-glass sea whipping by my window.

Adrenaline

Your imagination is affected by adrenaline. Most people enjoy the rush of adrenaline, it makes you feel alive, in fact, it can make you feel stronger, helping fear become overthrown. Personally, I feel these rushes not only make you stronger, but you begin to think clearer as well. With that being said, one must be very careful to not become addicted unwillingly. People are risking their lives to experience a rush which can provide an inevitable conclusion.

Heli-Diving: Embrace Your Inner Adrenaline Junkie « Scuba Dive

Heli-Diving: Embrace Your Inner Adrenaline Junkie « Scuba Dive | Adrenaline | Scoop.it

"The helicopter hovers about 7 feet over the reef. You’re in full scuba gear, hanging on to the door strap for the “go” signal. Adrenaline pumping, heart racing you look up to see the pilot’s fist raise in the air, the ultimate green flag in diving, and you let go, plummeting into the depths below. The entry is exhilarating, then you look around you at the pristine reefs and riot of fish, and your adrenaline peaks again. This is going to be a very memorable day..."
