Writefull is a writing assistant tool that works with a small popover (on Mac) or pop-up window (on Windows).
Writefull comes in two editions: the free Google Books edition, which uses the English Google Books database, and the paid Web edition, which uses the Internet.
I've tried the Free edition and feel it is a useful tool for all Learners. (We are all learners!)
Writeful uses data from Google Books (5+ million books) and the Web to give users language support.
All users need to do is...
   - select a chunk from your text,
   - activate the Writefull popover (Ctrl + Space), and
   - choose one of Writefull's options.
The options include...
   - Checking the number of results
   - Comparing the number of results
   - See examples in context
   - Find words in context and
   - Find synonyms in context

I suggest you start here on the Tutorials page.
