People with ADHD are more emotionally volitile.  They have impulsive emotions, rather than a mood disorder.  The emotions are normal, but most people would have inhibited, self calm and self soothe.

 

People with out ADHD have the same feelings, but they stop to regulate their emotional state before expressing them.
