On Sunday 7 March 2010 three failed asylum seekers jumped to their deaths from the fifteenth floor of Glasgow's notorious Red Road flats. It was an event that would make news around the world. While suicides of this type might be rare, thousands of asylum seekers are deemed to be 'bogus' every year. The programme uncovers the reality of the lives of the asylum seekers in Scotland who have been judged to be bogus, and how they are fighting back to try and stay in the country.

The rules on eligibility to free provision for ESOL for those students on inactive benefits have now been changed. The Action for ESOL Campaign is now monitoring the impacts of these changes at Colleges and language services and is asking for feedback on the effect of cuts in your area.
