Excelente síntesis del diseño e implementación del trabajo y aprendizaje, formal ('packaging') e informal ('scaffolding'), personal e institucional/ organizacional, así como del desarrollo de las capacidades requeridas en el nuevo entorno global, en red y complejo de nuestra Sociedad en Red actual.

 

En particular, desde el CICEI, hemos planteado algo parecido sobre la base de Moodle, Elgg, Mahara y otras herramientas y diseños (ecosistema), como soporte ( 'packagiing' / 'scaffolding') del desarrollo del modelo y  Estrategía Suricata de 'Desarrollo personal y social integral (perfiles eAprendiz, eCiudadano, etc)', con el correspondiente modelo de eCompetencias.

Rather than trying to design, create, deliver or even “control” what happens  within class , teachers need for a focus on “building the new personal and social capabilities” that are are going to be required by the new “connected workers”, in order for them to work and learn effectively in the digitally connected workplace.

Alliance for Excellent Education's report on Culture Shift provides facts that point to learner-centered instruction and the use of technology to "guide students toward greater ownership of their learning."

"It is not about instruction or technology. It is about the learner owning and driving their learning." 

 

When the learning starts with the learner, the learner takes responsibility for their learning. The report explains that the learner owns their learning, but does not provide evidence how this happens. The teacher, data, and technology guides the learning in the model provided in the report -- not the learner.

Read the report and you will realize ALL4Ed's focus is on instruction not starting with the learner. Read it carefully!!
