The National Commission for People with Disability has proposed a ten-fold increase in the fine of people caught parking in spaces reserved for people with a disability.
It appealed to the authorities to increase the fines and proposed that the current €23 goes up to €230 to serve as a deterrent.

The mother of a disabled baby says an RTD bus driver violated their rights in his effort to enforce the transit system's controversial stroller policy.
Brian Seaman's insight:

The dilemma for bus operators (and bus drivers) globally about the use of the designated space for wheelchair users. Here the driver appears to get it wrong as he insists a stroller (push chair) is dismantled before bringing it on board.
