Pope Calls Abortion 'Horrific' | The winner for abortions | Scoop.it
VATICAN CITY, Jan 13 (Reuters) - Pope Francis, whom conservatives in the Roman Catholic Church have accused of not speaking out forcefully enough against abortion, on Monday called the practice "horrific".

Tierra Sellers's insight:

It is almost always acceptable for everyone to state their opinion. In this particular video there is a Pope from the Roman Catholic Church that decides to come before his congregation about abortion. He stated how abortion to him is killing lives of not yet seen children, and that they are not given a chance. Even those of the church feel that it is murder. These are predominately views of the church. It may vary depending on individuals religion and different aspects.

Being Against Abortions

I love this video. anyone who wants this as a FWD text message just ask. it has different music in the text message.
Tierra Sellers's insight:

This video strictly shows the sadness of destroying a life. It shows that it is not fair to not think of a living soul who can not control one's actions. This video shows a sense of anti-abortion.

Should I Get an Abortion or Keep the Baby? (Ask Teal Episode about Abortion)

Today's Ask Teal Episode is About: Abortion There is life in everything. There is life there even before the being is conceived. There has to be a stream of ...
Tierra Sellers's insight:

The intelligence in this video is spectacular. This video does not lean to one side. It does not view one decision better than another. This video explains how a women know the best thing for herself. Whether it is the right to have an abortion or not. It also explains how most people that are anti-abortion go strictly by religion. Lastly, I like to mention that this video states that life is not destroyed, it only changes in different forms.

I Am Against Abortion But Pro-Contraception, So Am I Truly Pro-Life? - LifeNews.com

I Am Against Abortion But Pro-Contraception, So Am I Truly Pro-Life?

Via James Stone
Tierra Sellers's insight:

This opinionated description states that someone is against abortion but is pro-contraception. This is exceptionally allowing the rights of abortion. This is basically saying, I thereof respect the choice of the person's decision. Also, the individual states that he/she cannot speak down on abortion. This person truly understands that if others apart from the person seeking abortions live freely with contraception and do not practice abstinence, then it should only be fair to agree with one's decision.

Control Over Their Bodies is Not Why Women Say They Get Abortions

Control Over Their Bodies is Not Why Women Say They Get Abortions | The winner for abortions | Scoop.it
We hear a lot about bodily rights during the abortion debate. Moving beyond the abortion debate to society in general, I think it's clear that bodily rights are

Via Bob the Berean
Tierra Sellers's insight:

It is important to let the person that is put before the action to decide what they want with their body. They should have the voice to yonder yes or no. The person that has an issue should receive the respect and the right to decide what they shall do. It is all about letting their very own voice be heard. The will help them to choose the best thing for their self.

Andrea Luna's curator insight, February 13, 2014 2:34 AM

This article was very interesting to me because I will be doing my research paper on this specific topic. I picked up many new ideas to brain storm after reading this article some that never even crossed my mind. I think that this article just made me view my topic in a whole different level.

Nykeisha Hope's curator insight, March 25, 2014 5:29 PM

I Truly Kind Agree and Then i don't. Some Women Have abortions because as for a Married women, they tend to be an busy  person who has a lot of responsibility and a child could be the last thing on there mind and some don't want a child because of there body shape and i feel that some women think, having a child will set them back on things in life and would be unattractive and that is low self-steam

In abortion rights protest, two wrongs don't make a right - allvoices

In abortion rights protest, two wrongs don't make a right - allvoices | The winner for abortions | Scoop.it
In abortion rights protest, two wrongs don't make a right allvoices I donʼt like the practice, but I also donʼt think itʼs the governmentʼs right to tell people they canʼt have an abortion in cases such as rape, incest, or the motherʼs life being...
Tierra Sellers's insight:

I live by the quote "two wrongs don't make a right" but in this case of abortion it does not match up to that given quote. In this article it states that abortion is understandable for many reasons such as rape, incest, or the mother's life of being in danger. Pregnancies can change an individual's whole performance in their life.

Towards full abortion on demand | Another angry woman

Towards full abortion on demand | Another angry woman | The winner for abortions | Scoop.it
Regardless of debate about the rights of a foetus/baby, allowing very late abortions hands abusers a very big stick with which to hit their victim. Imagine how being bullied into an abortion at 36 weeks would affect someone.
Tierra Sellers's insight:

Spoken by Stavvers, in this selection she states that she is a full believer in abortion. She states the importance for freedom of choice. Through the process of abortion many are held responsible for their decision. Within Stavvers's article she comes up with great thought out reasons as to why one must undergo an abortion. It could be for many reasons such as rape or evens an oops. This was very well explained through Stavvers.
