Abolish the Rule of Thirds | Abolish the Rule of Thirds | Scoop.it
This is a project that tries to tackle the Rule of Thirds and abolish it from the art world…for good. Maybe a fool's hope, but perhaps with everyone's help we can bring awareness to it's excellent ability to lead artists down a dead end road. It's also a chance for artists and educators to earn a Free PDF of the new book!
Tavis Glover's insight:

Can an Artist be Born a Genius?

Can an Artist be Born a Genius? | Abolish the Rule of Thirds | Scoop.it
Hello to all of the artists out there! The other day I was having a conversation with a fellow artist, and a well known question surfaced. Can an artist be born a genius? Michelangelo, Da Vinci, Mozart, Einstein…all of these names come to mind when the word "genius" is used. Were they born this way? Would Da Vinci's mother admit that he came out of the womb grasping paint brushes? Well, if we believe this way, we are not understanding things in a logical sense. These artists aren't capable of more than us because they were "born that way," it's a combination of things within the environment they grew up.

The one on your Instagram, Flickr, YouTube, 500px, Twitter, etc.

Not to mention her little parrots wouldn't do so well with the paint fumes. Yes, I plan on painting very soon! Anyway, I've got some before and after pictures below, as well as a 10 part video series on the build!
