Chanel Got 1.8 Million Instagram Followers Virtually out of Nowhere

Chanel Got 1.8 Million Instagram Followers Virtually out of Nowhere | AANVE! |Website Designing Company in Delhi-India,SEO Services Company Delhi | Scoop.it

Chanel posted its first Instagram photos and videos Monday and already has 1.8 million followers. The images-based digital platform doesn't allow users to see exactly when companies or people join it—like Twitter does—but it appears that the brand opened its account some time ago, built up a considerable backing organically and then finally saw fit to post content. An email inquiry to the Paris-based company went unanswered.

As The New York Observer reported, the posts were born from a campaign party Chanel threw Monday for its new TV spot starring supermodel Gisele Bundchen. The brand's first Instagram post was a video (see below) that features a brief snippet of the commercial and garnered nearly 40,000 likes. Chanel's social marketing team then followed up with eight photographs from the soirée that collectively drew 158,000 likes....

After only one day of Instagram work, Chanel is already ahead of a good number of its high-end fashion competitors in terms of audience on the social channel. And yes, I'm aware of the serendipity and irony in posting this article next to the one of the schoolgirls kidnapped in Nigeria.

¡Reflexionemos!

Is Referral Marketing the most important tool in your ecommerce toolbox?

Is Referral Marketing the most important tool in your ecommerce toolbox? | AANVE! |Website Designing Company in Delhi-India,SEO Services Company Delhi | Scoop.it

The funny thing about referrals is that because it’s such a no brainer, a lot of businesses don’t have a formal program setup to ensure e that they’re maximizing this channel, by automatically or programmatically asking all their customers. That’s both a shame and an opportunity lost, because for every one customer who may be naturally inclined to refer or recommend a businesses to their friends“without” being asked, there are almost certainly a number that will be too busy, or not inclined to refer anything without being asked to do so.

That’s reflected in the research as well. Some research done by Texas Tech showed that while 83% of consumers indicate they’d be willing to refer a business they frequent, only 29% actually do. That’s because surprisingly most businesses simply don’t ask.A quick and easy  customer referral program is not only a great marketing strategy on it’s own, because of that gap in consumer willingness and businesses asking, there is also a really good chance that setting up a customer referral program is great low hanging marketing fruit you can take advantage of....

I think a watch in some ways has fewer barriers than Google Glass. And I love the watch form factor for wearables, I don't want to knock it. But with every step forward, you don't want to be constrained by what's existed previously. You can make an automobile look like a horse and buggy because people are more comfortable with it, but it might not be optimal for an automobile.

A certain amount of that might be helpful in the early adoption phases, but ultimately we will want these technologies, wherever they are on your body, to be totally optimised based on the job they're doing, not on what is more socially acceptable at that first moment of creation, just because it reminds people of something they've seen in the past. But if a watch helps us get there, that's fine with me.

Content Shock: Why It's Time To Rethink Your Content Marketing Strategy | Visually

Content Shock: Why It's Time To Rethink Your Content Marketing Strategy | Visually | AANVE! |Website Designing Company in Delhi-India,SEO Services Company Delhi | Scoop.it

...What made content marketing so successful was its ability to communicate with consumers without selling. It was a subliminal sales pitch that left potential customers with the desire to learn more about a product; a result of consuming relevant and moving content. Sites had to develop their message to appeal to consumers by creating a repository of interesting content.

With the amount of content growing rapidly, the ability to consume the content stays the same, despite technology having enable users to consume it at a higher rate than previously possible. Simply put: there aren’t enough hours in the day to consume the content available, requiring another great evolution to marketing theory in order to appease a group of consumers that have become oversaturated with different subject matter....

How to Effectively Market Your Brand's B2B Message on Twitter

How to Effectively Market Your Brand's B2B Message on Twitter | AANVE! |Website Designing Company in Delhi-India,SEO Services Company Delhi | Scoop.it

What was once a way for the technorati to share their day-to-day activities with the rest of the world, 140 characters at a time, Twitter has emerged to take on a much more powerful role than many of us expected. In short, this social network has revolutionized the way people connect and share with each other. In addition, it has also been proven to be an excellent tool for B2B communication. However, leveraging Twitter for this purpose requires a different strategy than someone would typically use for engagement.

There are clear rewards for businesses that make good-faith efforts to engage current and prospective customers through social media. Not only have we witnessed growing interest in Twitter as a platform for customer service and product support, more recently, conversations related to the role of social media in B2B marketing have also included Twitter. What drives most of the social media utilization is the fact that 56% of consumersbelieve that mobile makes the shopping experience more enjoyable....

How Strategic Is Your Board? | AANVE! |Website Designing Company in Delhi-India,SEO Services Company Delhi | Scoop.it
In a world where business models are evolving rapidly and new competitors can emerge almost overnight, strategic thinking — especially at the top of the company — is more important than ever to a company’s survival. Unfortunately, boards of directors have no clear model to follow when it comes to developing the strategic role that is best suited to the company they oversee. At one extreme, the board does little more than rubber-stamp the CEO’s decisions, while at the other, the board constantly second-guesses the executive team. Neither extreme adds value.

quote "If they could, with all of the experience and development knowledge they’ve picked up since, make an attempt at something like Omikron again - to create another free-roaming action/adventure where you were really in control of the main character and his journey through the world, where you still had an awesome plot and very cinematic conversations, but where they were in the context of a real game that wasn’t afraid to label itself a game instead of an “interactive movie” - then I think that would be such a promising step forward for the developer. In a way they’d almost be coming full circle, and backing away from much of the ideology that David Cage has embraced in recent years about wanting his games to be fully accessible to non-gamers, and not as much even be labeled “games” but rather their own interactive medium that all people can enjoy."

The Future of Engagement Is Big Data Plus Big Emotion

The Future of Engagement Is Big Data Plus Big Emotion | AANVE! |Website Designing Company in Delhi-India,SEO Services Company Delhi | Scoop.it

in a marketing landscape fueled by technology and consumer-driven behavior, brands need to combine big data plus big emotion to engage with audiences.

The tech-led empowerment of customers will only grow as the "Internet of Things" connects everything to everyone, driving down the marginal cost of production and distribution, just as technology has done with the supply of information.

Emotional fulfillment, not technology, will be the standout offering of a winning brand. People like technology -- but people mostly really like other people. The more digital life gets, the more people will value being understood, touched and involved by other people. The brands that win will be real and personable -- whether it's a live person on screen, a physical store interaction or the mass intimacy of a stadium event, from football to rock....
