An Aussie colleague and friend, Carole McCulloch, aka "Coach Carole," has a great Scoop. It site and shares an assortment of fabulous resources for teaching and learning with eportfolios, something we've come to expect from her.  I always learn so much from Carole online.  Thanks to Carole for her generous sharing.  (JWB, AAEEBL 10/27/12)

Bloom's Digital Web2.0

Bloom's Digital Web2.0 | AAEEBL -- Links to Learning | Scoop.it

"A comprehensive collection of digital tools aligned with Bloom's Taxonomy,  created by Karen VanVliet and Kathy Beck."

See https://sites.google.com/site/bloomsdigitalweb20/ -- This site offers a wealth of resources and information: Bloom's Digital Taxonomy and Web 2.0 Tools Continuing to Bloom; World Wide Websites 2.0; Bloom's Planning, Activity and Assessment Tools; Digital and Flip Cameras; Photo Resources; Tools for Photos; PhotoEditing; Audio Resources; Copyright; Evaluating Websites.

Pet peeve: I notice a preponderance of the term "tool" on this site.

Background: Since I got involved in the use of virtual sites for teaching and learning in the early 90s, I resist the use of the term "tool" and argue in favor of a concept that seems more expansive and less over-determined, the concept of spatiality.  It's not like "learning spaces" are the only way to think about the many dimensions new technologies offer.  I'd enjoy learning some other metaphors from educational innovators.)

Regardless of the number of times the "T-word" appears on this site, it's an exceptionally valuable site for educators at every level and could provide ideas for ways to encourage students to create eportfolios that include more than just text.
