On a similar note, sugar substitutes are another chemically altered substance. It's wise to measure the pros and cons to ingesting diet soda, Splenda, or sugar-free treats. While the no-calorie diet drinks are a better alternative to the sugar-bomb regular soda alternatives, the key is moderation. A sugar substitute isn't a wildly unhealthy choice as long as your consistent with other healthy habits like not overeating and eating enough fruits and veggies.
