This is an article by Maria Konovalenko of Science for Life Extension Foundation and it looks at the uses of artificial intelligence in brain mapping, cognitive prostheses which could replace parts of the brain. She also looks at the use of "AI" in robotics and augmented reality. The article gives some statistical data on how robotic cars have safely completed trips and also mentions of IBM computer which managed win against two champions in the game jeopardy. This article helps to understand the various possibilities for Artificial intelligence in the future as research continues in the area.

In this article Ben Uretsky founder of a New York based cloud hosting provider talks about the future of cloud computing, he talks of how the cloud computing industry will grow, the benefits it will have on the business community in particular the Asian Pacific. He also mentions security concerns about the technology. The author uses data and information from Cisco and other IT surveys conducted.This article provides insight on why cloud computing is an important technology of the future because of its potential to cut cost and provide flexibility for businesses. The article is useful to my research because it gives the perspective of someone in the industry and the selling points for this technology going in to the future. Security concerns about cloud computing are mentioned in the article but there is not enough information and data as to how it will affect the growth and use of this Technology.

This video by Android Authority, a technology reviewer group features some of the gadgets that were showcased at the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show. It features  interviews with representatives of Vuzix and Epson who manufacture smart glasses. Also in the video are smart bands from Sony and Epson. This video demonstrates the future of wearable tech in the form of smart glasses which will be used to interact with the environment of the use allow also uninterrupted social experiences. Smart bands will be used to track physical activity, provide useful data and become accessories formobile phones.

This article by Lyndsey Gilpin of TechRepublic looks at way 3d printing is being used in manufacturing by 10 companies which include Nike, Ford and how it is benefiting them. The article looks at the reduction in cost and manufacture time that have resulted from the use of 3d printers and also the innovation it has brought to companies. In the future as 3d printers becoming cheaper, it will open up opportunity for growth of small businesses by giving them the ability to both design and manufacture their products.
