Manners do matter. Recently, I was greeted by a person who is about 40. I use greeting broadly. He said, "Hey Ivon" and immediately looked at his phone to check Twitter or whatever. That is the role model we have from educators out there. Really?

This is a clear and succcint expression of key aspects of online behavior. I was glad to see that these exhortations were expressed in positive as well as negative terms; the left column alone is an inspiring read. Well worth posting in a classroom. Delete the scoop?
