The fact is, digital technologies have already changed your classroom: your students use sites like Rate Your Professor to choose courses; your administration may insist you use a Learning Management System (LMS) like Blackboard or Moodle to submit grades; and your research has likely been inspired by open-source and digital Journals, eBooks, and streaming video lectures or TED talks. So, rather than ignoring technology or banning your students from bringing the ‘outside world’ into your classroom, many educators have found success in embracing technology in teaching.
