Great interactive tool...new way to engage students. Our department is meeting to see how we can incorporate into our units, just to try it out and see student response.

It can be used as a replacement for the "Clicker System" but without the hardware to purchase!
Amy Perrett's curator insight, June 1, 2013 2:59 AM

Socrative is an app where students respond using different divices within their classroom with a series of educational exercises and games. Socrative works on tablets, smartphones, and laptops. Teachers control the learning experience by logging in through their devices and selecting an activity which controls the flow of questions and games. Students login and respond to the activities which could include multiple choice, true/false and short answer response questions (Socrative, 2013).
