How long has the word paradigm been around? I remember many years ago talking about the concept of paradigm shift (I had to google it to verify that Joel Barker was the author I recall being the expert of the time.) Anyhow, enough of the brief history lesson on my knowledge of paradigms. But I do have a point, lets talk about this concept. As I work with groups that come and visit our district and as I do private consulting with districts, what I am finding is that iPads change how we think about technology. But not everyone is on the same page, not everyone has the same background knowledge as it relates to iPads and rolling out a 1-1 initiative. So I would like to share a few of the common themes I’m seeing and hearing as I chat with teachers, administrators, and school board members. Via Ana Cristina Pratas Delete the scoop?

Agreed. Technology is instrumental in creating 21 century change, only when the teachers are engaging with their students. Left alone the iPad or laptop is a clinical tool that does not create relationship. Teaching in the 21 st century is all about relationship!! Delete the scoop?
