Agreed.  Technology is instrumental in creating 21 century change, only when the teachers are engaging with their students.  Left alone the iPad or laptop is a clinical tool that does not create relationship.  Teaching in the 21 st century is all about relationship!!

The key to all good teaching is the human quality. I am not sure there is definition for being a good teacher, but Aristotle would ask to point towards the good.

First, traditional teaching methodologies like reading, lecturing, testing, and memorization are worse than useless. They are actually the counter-productive way in which boxes get built. Most education focuses on providing answers in a linear step by step way. Mobley realized that asking radically different questions in a non-linear way is the key to creativity.
