Argentina's stars spoke exclusively to FIFA.com after the dramatic penalty shoot-out win over Netherlands which lifted the Albiceleste into the first FIFA World Cup Final for 24 years.

Argentina became a party. The streets of the country dressed in white and light-blue, and not because of the Independence Day. Eleven heroes turned on the illusion of 42 million people to see their team crowned as the best in the world no less than in Brazilian lands, historic enemy. Players or rather gladiators, will come out to fight against the imposing Germany, repeating the same final of Italia 90, match that won the Germans. Argentina will have 90 minutes to achieve the revenge of an old acquaintance, that not only snatched the title in Italy, also left them out of quarter-final of the last two World Cups.

Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari has said he cannot explain the 7-1 defeat to Germany in the 2014 FIFA world Cup Brazil semi-final, describing it as "a disaster in six minutes".

After the demolished defeat against Germany, reprobation began to make echo and all looks point to a single person, Felipao Scolari. The coach who crowned Brazil champion of the World Cup 2002, today becomes the target of criticism. Not only for ruining the dream of leaving champion at home, also for the humiliating 7-1 that marked a historic milestone. Scolari, who still doesn't know if he will continue being the coach, is as surprised as the rest, and said that  find no explanation for the succession of four goals on 23 and 29 minutes of the first time.

Colombia’s elimination from Brazil 2014 on Friday caused sadness in the Cafetero camp but did not stop Juan Quintero and David Ospina from vowing they will come back even stronger.

The Colombian team was also a victim of the mighty Brazil. However, they will be always remembered for reached for the first time to quarter-finals in a World Cup. The surprising performance of several of their young players like Juan Cuadrado or Victor Ibarbo, make  Colombian people dreams with more in the future. In addition, James Rodriguez with just 22 years old  is the top scorer, up to now, of the World Cup with 6 goals.

One month left for the beginning of the World Cup, all the Colombian people are expecting and wishing seeing Radamel Falcao in the national team. Though  normally the recovery of a knee surgery  involves 6-9 months, the coach, Jose Pekerman, doesn't lose the hopes  and he included  him  in his 30- man squad.

The FIFA Appeal Committee has decided to reject the appeals lodged by both the Uruguayan player Luis Suarez and the Uruguayan FA, and to confirm the decision rendered by the FIFA Disciplinary Committee on 25 June 2014 in its entirety.

Fifa said no to the request of Luis Suarez and UFA (Uruguayan Footbal Asocciation) to review the disciplinary sanction by the bite to the Italian player, Giorgio Chiellini. The penalty for the violation imposed by the court on May 25, consists of four months of inactivity on football and nine official FIFA matches. However, they can still appeal to the Court of Arbitration of Sport, but this is subject to certain conditions.

Brazil's leading goalscorer won't play any further part in the tournament after injuring his back late in the quarter-final win against Colombia.

The worst news for Brazilians was confirmed. The star player, Neymar, will lose the rest of the World Cup for the sharp knee of the Colombian defender, Camilo Zuñiga. After being taken to the city's Hospital Sao Carlos, was revealed that the Barcelona forward suffered a fracture of the third vertebra. However, the outlook is not entirely discouraging for Neymar because he will not need surgery for the total recovery.

Alejandro Sabella, the Argentinean manager, gave the official squad for the next World Cup and he has already generated controversy by the absence of Carlos Tevez. The Juventus's forward could not convince Sabella, regardlees his great perfomance in the Italian team.
