Putting together a great looking website is a great start, but it is just a start.

 

True web design requires you to venture beyond the aesthetic and into the worlds of User Experience and Conversion Rate Optimization.

Knowing how the viewers of your site really see it can help to shine light on new and/or missed opportunities within your current design. It may also bring out the need for new elements or changes.

Post pubblicato su Teachtought in cui vengono presentato 36 applicazioni web e per iPads utili al supporto dell'apprendimento basato sull'indagine, in molti casi si tratta di applicazioni di cui esiste anche la versione per Android. Sono applicazioni prevalentemente free o freemium, in alcuni casi hanno un costo che si aggira sui 2 o 3 euro.

 

Le Applicazioni

Le apps sono ordinate per tipologia e vengono fornite poche ma essenziali informazioni su ciascuna di esse in una infografica:

Questi i gruppi suddivisi per tipologia:

1. Motori di ricerca: safari, google, discovr

2. Gestione della classe: nearpad, socrative, class dojo

I think, to some extent, this sometimes overstated. There are students who won''t  listen for a variety of reasons. That has always been the case. I found that most students are willing to learn. I am sitting in a university library with some digital natives. Most of them are here to learn and it shows.

This iactually the second article of a series . This is a  word used frequently, but it's definition varies.  I  think rigor need to also differentiate , say, reading levels so each learner is challenged from the level they are currently at. Rigor does not mean, "one size fits all!"

I would add: Trans-disciplinary thinking; systems thinking for sustainability. Most people can not see the forest through the trees so miss the larger connections of the impacts that action, goods & services have on both environmental systems and human systems.
