This video shows the way alcohol played a role in early 90's . People enjoyed the alcohol as seen in the video. During the prohibition the people who were against the 18th Amendment protested. They protested by walking down streets while holding up signs. Even the average citizens didnt follow the rules for the Amendment, and continued to consume alcohol illegally.These conflicts caused the amendment to be removed. The 18th Amendment was repealed on December 5,1933.

The 18th amendment to the United States was a constitution, which was prohibited by manufactures, transport, and alcoholic beverages Etc. But upon the amendment by the states, congress voted its approval in October 1919. The prohibition of alcohol but it is mostly known as Prohibition. The prohibition was a legal act of prohibiting sales or alcohol. In the 1917 75% Americans lived in dry counties. Also the prohibition was a movement to band alcohol. But opponents argued the prohibition created an atmosphere of hypocrisy and increased organize crime. With the prohibition going on advocates argued that the prohibition improved individuals, strengths, & families. The Volstead act was a law that which enforced prohibition. But Volstead act did banned a lot of owning any items that was designed to manufacture alcohol was illegal. One thing that went through the 1920 was a bootlegger. Bootlegging was a solid illegal alcohol to consumers.



On January 16,1919 national prohibition was when the United States of America was banned to sale any production of liquor. But it was done by the way of the 18th amendment. But the actual prohibition didn’t start until the 1920s. But many policeman & politician’s looked were looking other ways due to the issues with alcohol. Any throughout many were organizing bootleggers. Al Capone (which ran other criminal activates in Chicago. On January 21,1941 Al Capone had a stroke and a couple of days after his stroke he died on January 25,1947. Back In the 1920s that had something called rumrunners. Rumrunners were people that smuggled stuff across a state border. In the late 1919 the states passes the 18th amendment to the constitution forbidding to maturation. One Thing that happen during the 1920s was the temperance movement. The temperance movement was a movement urging reduced by prohibiting using beverages. Speakeasies was being created in cites secret drinking establishments. Finally , the 21st amendment repealed the 18th amendment on December 5,1933.
