This video poses a good question, what is the best programming language to learn. Learning your first programming language is very hard, mainly due to the fact that when programming, languages have very concise formatting standards, unlike our human languages. The idea of an intuitive programming language is hard to think about, as every person thinks differently, small differences in say, dialect, change the way that we think something should be written.

The choice of which programming language you choose to use is largely based off who you work with, or what you work with. C++ is one of the most common programming languages, and so it is very desired, despite being a rather hard language to learn. This may change in the next few years, as the next generation of programmers start to make new programs in new languages.

The popularity of Java being above C++ despite the difference in demand is expected, many people today learn Java over C++ because as a language it is just as powerful, yet to an extent, simpler. Simplification of languages makes learning them far easier, perhaps in the near future we will see Java become a far more desired language than C++.
